3-COAT STUCCO
A 3-Coat stucco system:
- 7/8-inch 3-coat stucco system is most popular exterior cladding choices for both residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. Three Coat stucco offers a durable and fire-resistant cladding.
- Mechanically fastened weather barrier over open framing or sheathing.
- Over the weather barrier will be expanded or woven wire lath fastened with staples or furring nails.
- Portland cement scratch and brown coat hand troweled or sprayed with a 14-day drying time. Field mixed with sand, water, and an optional chopped fibers and approved admix.
- The finish can be a variety of products used individually – or in combination – to provide color and texture to the surface.
One Coat System
One Coat System:
- 3/8-inch 1 coat Stucco system with increased energy efficiency that creates a long-lasting exterior cladding for residential and commercial projects. One coat stucco has the appearance and advantages of traditional three coat stucco.
- Mechanically fastened weather barrier over open framing or sheathing.
- Foam board is then attached over the water-resistive barrier.
- Over the foam board will be expanded or woven wire lath fastened with staples.
- One coat cement base is applied as a single layer at a minimum 3/8-inch thickness, hand troweled or sprayed with a 14-day drying time. Portland cement concentrate is a factory prepared blend of Portland cement, chopped fibers, and field mixed with sand, water, and an optional approved admix.
- The finish can be a variety of products used individually – or in combination – to provide color and texture to the surface.
